My Philosophy

To understand my philosophy you must first understand the difference between educating someone and training someone. When I train someone I am seeking to develop habit and instinct so that trained people can act quickly to a developing situation without a lot of thought. I do this through simulation drills and field work. When I educate someone I am developing familiarity with the subject but not habit. Educating develops your ability to face a crisis and think effectively about it. It allows senior commanders and leaders the ability to decide a course of action when confronted with tough decisions during a crisis situation.

I provide decision-making and leadership skills necessary for the management of crisis by presenting realistic education of a crisis event. For our "First Responder" teams I offer training that develops your response strategy, decision-making, tactics, and communication skills through real world simulations and field work.
